This role combines strong platform administration responsibilities with hands-on development and customization across ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SPM, and other ServiceNow modules.

You will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, continuous improvement, and alignment with business needs.Your responsibilities will include : Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring performance, security, and user access managementDesign, develop, and configure solutions, including workflows, forms, integrations, and dashboardsLead platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with stakeholdersEnsure compliance with ServiceNow and ITIL best practices, maintaining thorough documentationSupport users, provide training, and work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and adopt new featuresWho we are looking for : Mandatory qualifications in ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Implementation Specialist (ITSM)Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator and / or Developer with a solid grasp of platform architecture and data modelsProficient in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and Flow Designer, with experience in modules such as ITSM, SPM, CSM, and ITOMSkilled in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST / SOAP APIsFamiliarity with ITIL or ITSM process improvement as well as Agile and DevOps methodologies in a ServiceNow environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDesirable : Certified Application Developer or additional CIS certificationsExperience with MID Server, Discovery, CMDB Health, Virtual Agent, and governance models like CSDM or App Engine StudioRole Requirements : As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be consideredSuccessful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfactionAbout Curtin UniversityWe are an energetic, dedicated team of academics and professionals working together to provide global solutions through quality graduates and innovative research.
