Kids Play Centre Attendant

We're on the lookout for a

• superstar Kids Play Centre Attendant
• to join our team at
• Club Central Menai!
• This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about creating a safe, exciting, and engaging space for little adventurers. If you've got a big smile, a warm heart, and a knack for keeping kids entertained while ensuring their safety—this is the job for you!
• What You'll Be Doing
• Every shift will be filled with
• energy and fun
• but you'll also play a key role in keeping everything
• safe and well-organised
• Your duties will include :
• Check-in & Check-out
• Making sure only the registered grown-up picks up their child—no sneaky swaps!
• Crowd Control
• Keeping the play centre at a max of 20 kids (1 : 10 staff ratio) and managing a waitlist when needed.
• Keeping it Safe & Clean
• Spotting hazards, reporting anything that needs fixing, and making sure our play space is
• sparkling clean
• First Aid & Well-being
• Watching out for unwell kiddos, following health and hygiene protocols, and providing basic first aid if needed.
• Talking to Grown-ups
• Giving parents / guardians a friendly welcome, explaining play centre rules, and making sure everyone is in the loop.
• Following the Rules
• Sticking to our club's policies, keeping records neat and tidy, and reporting any issues to the Venue Manager.
• Who We're Looking For

We want someone who :

• Loves working with kids
• and knows how to keep things fun AND safe.

Has great attention to detail (especially when it comes to safety and record-keeping!).

• Communicates well
• whether it's with excited kids or parents who have questions.
• responsible, friendly, and proactive
• you'll be the one making sure everything runs smoothly!
• What You'll Need
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid Certificate
• or a willingness to get one!)
• Previous experience
• working with kids (bonus points if you've worked in a play centre, childcare, or similar!)
