- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide person-centered support to clients with disabilities, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in accessing community services and participating in social and recreational activities.
- Implement individualised care plans and support strategies.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a disability support role is highly desirable.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Blue Card with Y exemption.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- NEW NDIS Induction Module.
- ALL other NDIS / online modules.
- National Police Check.
- Class C open driver's license (desirable).
- Comprehensive Care Insurance.
- Nationally accredited Medication training certificate (desirable).
- Nationally accredited Epilepsy and Midazolam training (desirable).
- Relevant industry qualifications.
- 100 Points of ID
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
