(Preference is a QS background) Proven experience working as a Commercial Manager for a contractor, on resources projects in excess of $200M+ Excellent leadership & communication skills. Proven experience working on self-performed contracts. Ability to manage, cost and report on labour, materials, plant, equipment and overheads. Strong financial management skills and the ability to implement strategies to reduce risk and maximise profitability. Local experience and key relationships with the local supply chain. Ability to prepare, analyse and present high level financial reports (forecasting, cash flow, project profitability, cost to complete etc) Experience with claims and dispute resolution. 0400 578 444 for a confidential discussion. - About the Company
A tier 1 infrastructure business with over 70 years proven success in Australia. With a national presence and the ability to deliver major infrastructure projects across roads, rail, resources, SMP, NPI & bulk earthworks.
They are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join the business and work within their resources team on a range of SMP, E&I & civil projects for mining and oil & gas clients. The projects involve heavy SMP work, they will be predominantly self-performed and are in excess of $300M. This will be a Perth based position with monthly site visits and you would be managing a team of approximately 10.
