Salary : $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (based on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Practice Manager to lead the setup and operations of a brand new, privately-owned general practice scheduled to open later this year in metropolitan Adelaide.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a medical practice from the ground up — from recruitment to policy creation, patient care systems, and ongoing leadership.

What You'll Be Doing :

Lead the start-up phase : Assist in clinic setup, systems design, recruitment, accreditation, and liaising with key service providers.

Operational management : Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring compliance with RACGP standards, Medicare billing, and patient flow.

Team leadership : Support and coordinate a team of GPs, nurses, and administrative staff, with a people-first mindset.

Financial & strategic oversight : Manage budgets, reporting, KPIs, and contribute to practice growth and sustainability.

Patient experience focus : Ensure a warm, efficient, and professional environment for our patients from Day 1.

We're Looking For :

Previous experience managing a general practice (or large health-related business)

Proven success in start-up or change environments highly regarded

Strong understanding of Medicare, HR, accreditation, and compliance

Leadership skills and ability to inspire and organise a team

Excellent communication, tech proficiency, and multitasking ability
