This is a newly created role for a Facilities Coordinator to join an onsite Building Management team who manage an iconic Collins Street unique and premium mixed-use precinct. This role will manage the day-to-day activities across the precinct and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and contractors. The Facilities Coordinator role is integral to the overall performance of the on-site property management team with contribution towards the overall presentation of the property and overviews contracts which have a direct impact on our occupier Partners, their customers, visitors, and contractors
Contracts & Contractor Management.
Ensuring any works are carried out in a timely manner, to a high standard and in accordance with specifications, requesting reports and ensuring matters arising are actioned.
Organisation of miscellaneous minor works related to the presentation of the building.
Offer 24-hour 7-day Emergency Call Support and be present on site during normal business working hours
Planning and implementing environmental and sustainability initiatives with the Operations Team.
Assisting with the formulation of the annual budget.
The role requires on-site attendance during allocated business hours, and an individual who is conscientious, diligent and organised in their approach, with a 'can do' solutions-based attitude. You will have a demonstrated ability to think laterally, accommodate change with new and innovative ideas, and most importantly, the ability to prioritise work.
Achievement of a tertiary degree in Engineering, Property, Build Environment, Building or equivalent that can be applied to the management of property will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in the Property Industry with a strong focus on Customer Service will also be highly regarded
Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels. They must be aware of customer and partner service responsibilities and respect the needs of partners and visitors to the property
