Get to know the Role :

Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join the team at our Perth Branch.

This role requires the successful candidate to display the disciplines associated within a selling environment that is structured and supported with clear goals and directions.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your sales experience will assist in performing duties including recognising future business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and instigating market research to target business.

Duties :

• Create new business by contacting prospective customers and evaluating their interest in examining or using our service;
• Identify and maximise all Border Express business through the submission of proposals and presentations;
• Regularly review quarterly plans against actual outcomes and adjust as required to ensure they continue to align to overall objectives and targets;
• Work with the State Sales Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure tenders meet the strategic direction of the business and are within agreed sales and business policies;
• Provide reports as required;
• Meet weekly KPIs
