As a Clinical Midwife Educator, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering midwifery education, mentoring junior staff and new graduates, facilitating simulation training, and supporting accreditation processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping best practices through policy development and staff education. Collaborating closely with the clinical leadership team and maternity managers, you will contribute to excellence in maternity care.

Please note : This position is advertised as working 16 hours per week. If you are a full-time applicant and wish to retain your existing assignment, the appointed hours will be 14 hours per week.

What You'll be Doing :

Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Midwifery Educators, and Clinical Midwifery Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service, and enhanced patient outcomes.

• Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area.
• The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health, and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.
• Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.
• Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcomes students from over 20 universities and colleges.
• Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres, and eateries.
