About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified Technician to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of material handling equipment. This position will be supporting our customers in Newcastle.
- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Driver's licence.
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician / Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
- Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
- Skills and experience
- Good diagnostic and repair skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
