Field Service Technician

We are seeking a qualified Technician to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of material handling equipment. This position will be supporting our customers in Newcastle.

• Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Current Driver's licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician / Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
• Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
• Skills and experience
• Good diagnostic and repair skills.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
• Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
• Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
