We are seeking a qualified Welder who will be responsible for :
Reading, interpreting, and following complex engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints, and weld symbols to determine precise welding requirements, ensuring compliance with technical standards.Performing advanced welding techniques on stainless steel materials to fabricate strong, visually appealing welds as per customer and engineering specifications.Engaging directly with clients for consultations, refining welding projects through expert advice on weld designs, material properties, and structural integrity.Collaborating with fabrication teams to plan and execute complex welding tasks, ensuring the integration of components aligns with the final product's design and promotes a culture of excellence.Installing custom-welded structures with precision at client sites, complying with architectural specifications and safety standards.Conducting safety checks and equipment maintenance to the highest standards, using tools like callipers, weld gauges, and tape measures to ensure precision in welding tasks.Adhering to stringent safety protocols, employing preventative maintenance for welding machinery, and consistently using personal protective equipment.Performing quality assurance through visual inspection and testing methods, reworking, and repairing as necessary to meet stringent standards.Managing the supply and inventory of materials and consumables, ensuring availability and minimising waste, while evaluating machinery performance for technological upgrades.Demonstrating leadership in workshop settings and on job sites, maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful work environment that fosters professionalism and productivity.About youThe minimum requirements for the position are :
