Contract – 12 months

Lead complex materials handling projects Opportunity for contract extension Position Summary Join our team as a Lead in Project Delivery, where you'll drive the successful execution of construction projects with a focus on materials handling infrastructure . With your engineering expertise and over a decade of project experience, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle – from early study phases through to execution and delivery. This role requires strong contractor management skills, the ability to maintain schedule and budget control, and proficiency in MS Project. Excellent communication and stakeholder management will be key to success.

This 12-month contract is based in Perth, with potential for extension, and includes site travel of approximately three nights per fortnight during execution phases. It's a great opportunity to take a lead role in a long-term program of work on the owner's side.

About the Role Lead the project delivery team to ensure successful execution of materials handling infrastructure projects Manage the full project lifecycle from study through to execution Work closely with stakeholders to translate project needs into practical delivery plans Use MS Project for effective scheduling, budgeting, and controls Conduct regular site visits (approx. 3 nights a fortnight during execution) Provide leadership to ensure quality outcomes and a high-performance team culture Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders across the lifecycle About You Degree-qualified engineer (construction-related discipline) 10+ years of experience in construction project delivery Direct contractor-side or contractor management experience Proven experience across full project lifecycle – studies to execution Proficient in MS Project for project controls Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in materials handling projects highly regarded Strong stakeholder engagement and site execution capabilities Willing and able to travel for short site stints as required Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Project Management Industries Agriculture, Construction, Mining Machinery Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Inverse Group by 2x
