Job description

Drake Recruitment are looking for a Leading Hand for one of our clients for roles located across the Perth Metro Area.

Our client is an innovative construction company specialising in plasterboard interior of all kinds, is revolutionising the ceiling industry with a professional fresh approach. With over 25 years' experience in the industry, their professionalism, planning and presentation have made them leaders in their field.

Role Hours :

Monday - Friday
6.30am-4pm
Temp to Perm role
Starting ASAP
50 Per Hour

Role Responsibilities and Outputs can include (but are not limited to) :

Communicate with the onsite supervisor,

Possible ordering duties,

Set up jobs and tasks for TA to complete,

Complete job & tasks alongside trades / assistants,

Report on progress and complications,

Confirming worker needs for site

Skills, Capabilities and Mindset :

Required :

Preferred 2-3 years' experience in a similar role

Essential experience as a commercial ceiling fixer or carpenter essential

White Card Essential

Working At Heights Qualification desirable

Reliable Work car (with room for trade tools)

Current Valid Driver's License

Steel Toed Boots and appropriate PPE (both long and short sleeve / pant)

National Police Check (within 6 months)

Physically fit

Willing to participate in random Drug & Alcohol tests on sites as required
