• initially working at our Wahroonga project.
• About the role

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role assisting in overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that our residential apartment projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be the link between management and the crew, driving productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily activities of the construction crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in scheduling tasks and managing workflow on-site.
• Mentor and train team members, promoting skill development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
• Assist with site inductions
• Assist with co-ordinating trades on site.
• Carry out various construction work tasks using tools and materials supplied when required and requested by site staff.
• Skills and experience
• Proven experience in a leading hand or supervisory role within mid-high rise construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qualified carpenter
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Be willing and able to work at various project locations within the Sydney metro area.
