What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure the provision of an appropriate and safe standard of clinical care.
• Assume responsibility for providing leadership, direction and co‑ordination of patient care.
• Ensure the effective functioning of the nursing team in the co‑ordination of each team member providing care.
• Ensure all nursing staff in the ward practice safely, are competent and work within their scope of practice.
• Assist the Nurse Manager to ensure that the ward is managed effectively and within budget allocation.
