The Role
We a seeking a Lawyer / Associate (3-4 years’ PAE) to join our Corporate (Energy, Resources & Infrastructure) practice. As a national practice, we are looking for a candidate to sit in any of Mills Oakley’s offices, with a preference in Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.
In this role you will work closely with our market-leading team, led by Partners Lachlan Drew, Natalie Lonergan, Jeremy Rees, Sarah Pick, and Yannis Vrodos.
You will undertake a range of work on complex, strategic energy, resources and infrastructure transactions, including renewables, mining and government contracting. We are looking for a candidate with experience in front-end drafting of commercial contracts, including procurement documents, construction contracts and corporate contracting. Experience in running and administering procurement processes would also be favourable. The role will also involve advising on general commercial contracting, statutory and contractual interpretation, regulatory advice, and corporate advice and transactions in the energy sector.
