About the Team

Enterprise Performance, Assurance and Risk (EPAR) : The Enterprise Performance, Assurance and Risk section is responsible for developing, embedding, and refining the Commission’s Performance, Audit and Assurance, and Risk frameworks, policies, and procedures to support the achievement of strategic goals and compliance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). The EPAR section :

• coordinates corporate planning and reporting activities, with a particular focus on the development and delivery of the Commission’s Corporate Plan, Performance Measures and Annual Performance Statements and Annual Report
• promotes a culture of continuous performance improvement and transparent reporting
• ensures the effective identification and management of enterprise risks
• ensures delivery of appropriate education, training, and communication on key governance, audit and quality assurance and risk matters within its functional remit.
• The EPAR team monitors and reports against all related governance accountabilities and statutory compliance obligations at an entity level. It works with relevant business areas to ensure adequate internal controls are in place and any improvement / rectification plans are developed and enacted.

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to support the coordination and reporting of the Commission’s approach to performance planning and reporting to ensure the monitoring of the Commission’s performance as an organisation. This role focus is on developing and embedding sustainable and fit for purpose reporting solutions to support monitoring and analysis for EPAR responsibilities.
