Strong Customer service

Negotiation skills

Attention to detail

SAP experience in purchasing modules (preferred)

Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred)

Negotiation and influencing skills

Comfortable in seeking out new business from existing clients

Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)

The ability to show initiative and display problem-solving skills

Purchasing experience (desirable)

Demonstration of organised multi-tasking skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Willingness to learn new systems

The Role

Overall assist clients in their product service deliverables

Develop close partnerships with clients in order to gain repeat business and expand existing business with them

Prepare quotations on refurbishment projects in line with pricing policies

Obtain pricing, place orders, and expedite parts and sundry items through Schenck Process purchasing procedures

Compile Manufacturing Data Records for quality control review and client submission

Track sales revenue and margin profits for refurbishment projects

Actively seek out opportunities for new refurbishment work through frequent client contact

Negotiate vendor workloads to accommodate client's requests working to achieve client requirements
