The OpportunityDue to internal movement, Komatsu has a new role in our Fairfield branch. The position is responsible and accountable for the operation of the Workshop to ensure it runs safely, efficiently, profitably and offers genuine product to the customers of the Branch. This is achieved by co-ordinating the activities including workflow and staff allocations, ensuring that at all deadlines are met, documentation is completed and Jobs are invoiced promptly. In particular staff presence, rostering and absences, job quoting, authorisations and variations, safe working habits and safety awareness.

- Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Trade or engineering qualification, with a minimum of five years post qualification experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment.
- A minimum of two years as a Leading Hand or Supervisor.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with all levels of management, staff and customers.
- Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with paperwork and high capability in the use of computer systems.
- Mobile plant equipment including planning and scheduling of work.
- Leading a large team of employees to achieve a high level of performance with appropriate demeanour for supervising and assisting to create a positive "team atmosphere".
- Customer service satisfaction and continuous improvement projects.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment with a proactive approach.
- Proven abilities in Excel and proficient user of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Training in OHS, and completion of S1, S2, & S3.
