Role Overview

We are now seeking a motivated and organised Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality administrative support to hospital departments, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Providing front‑line reception and administrative support to patients and visitors.
  • Managing patient admissions, discharges and bookings in line with hospital policies.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry within hospital systems.
  • Assisting clinical and management staff with administrative and clerical tasks.

    What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills including extensive experience with word processing, data entry, and procurement.
  • Well‑developed customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Capacity to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks as an effective member of a team in a high‑pressure, high‑volume work environment, with the ability and willingness to multi‑task, be adaptable. Being familiar with banking processes and patient valuable policies is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic and demonstrated experience in providing Administration Support to a small team.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
