What you will do as the Assistant Director Remuneration and Workforce Insights :
- Ensure that our “how to” documentation is current and relevant for the annual cycle of reporting.
- Define business problems, gather technical and non‑technical information and design propose fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
- Develop and implement the quality assurance reporting programme and provide insights into based on the data.
- Review reporting and insights processes to identify efficiencies and ensure they meet reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement new datasets in Datasmart to meet new business needs to enable creation of new workforce dashboards.
- Develop capability in the People Connect and Payroll teams to undertake basic tasks / reports by providing training on the Aurion query tool (reporting) module.
- Assist the payroll team with the development of how to guides and Business Process Mapping to identify risks and implement contingency controls and treatments.
- Review Aurion data and identify areas for improvement in data quality.
- Assist with implementing workforce planning practices including job categorisation, establishment management and consistent position titles across the agency.
- Be the People Branch Senior Data Steward, primary contact point for queries related to data management and drive cultural change within the People branch.
- Work with the Data & Intelligence Branch to shape data‑related policies and procedures in ways that will work for the People Branch.
- Understand the relationship between Aurion, ServiceNow and other corporate systems and proactively liaise with teams to share knowledge and encourage uptake of good practice based on learnings.
- Demonstrate leadership across the branch, and lead and develop the Workforce Insights team, ensuring succession plans are in place.
- Be the key contact point for Aurion system matters, building a strong relationship and connection with key Aurion personnel, ACCC ICT and Unify.
About You
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.Demonstrated experience leading a workforce insights team.Knowledge and technical understanding of Aurion and ServiceNow.Demonstrated experience leading and delivering HR projects.Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment with the ability to manage competing priorities and demands.Tertiary qualifications in data analytics and / or Human Resources are highly desirable but not essential.

Salary : EL1 $123,702 - $136,900 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
