Salary : Level B : $124,656 - $148,023 p.a. (pro rata for part-time) plus 17% super
Responsibilities
- Drive Platform Development : Oversee strategic growth, optimisation, and sustainable development of the MIA platform, including the strategic development of innovative capabilities.
- Lead Research and Training : Conduct high‑quality isotope analyses and develop training programmes for diverse stakeholders.
- Foster Partnerships : Build collaborative relationships with academia, industry, and government to advance research and develop funding opportunities.
- Manage Operations : Oversee laboratory platform operations, develop SOPs, and ensure adherence to OHS protocols.
Qualifications
PhD or equivalent in analytical geochemistry with experience in government, industry and related fields.Strong track record in managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver high‑impact research outcomes.Experience in isotope geochemistry and mass spectrometry, with strong analytical and organisational skills.Proven track record in developing and managing research projects and infrastructure.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster collaborative partnerships.Skilled in supervising diverse teams and promoting a productive work environment.Demonstrated budgetary and financial acumen, with experience in securing funding opportunities.Benefits
