This specialised role is essential to the safe and effective provision of oncology pharmacy services at the Launceston General Hospital.

The Role : Coordinate clinical activities in Oncology and Haematology at LGH, including training, supervision, and support for pharmacy staff.Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care as part of a multidisciplinary team, including dispensing, patient counselling, and professional advice.Educate pharmacy staff, including students, in clinical pharmacy services.Supervise and lead pharmacists and support staff in Oncology and Haematology.Maintain drug information and evaluate drug utilisation; participate in education programs and research.Note : Refer to the Statement of Duties for all selection criteria to address in your application.

The Team : LGH is Tasmania's second largest hospital, serving as a major referral centre with approximately 4000 staff and 349 beds.

The successful applicant will join the cancer and pharmacy team involved in chemotherapy verification, supply, and compounding for oncology patients.

Details of appointment : Permanent full-time, day shift, 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible.

Hours are negotiable.

Note : The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for 12 months.

Salary : $110,425 to $126,703 per annum (pro rata), plus 11.5% superannuation.

Salary range aligned with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.

2 of 2022.
