St George Hospital - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheter Lab - Permanent Part Time
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Catheter Lab at St George Hospital. This permanent part‑time role (32 hours per week) commences on 9 March 2026. On‑call shifts are required.
Role Overview
Co‑ordinate and deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheter Lab, ensuring compliance with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support patients and families, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care plans.
- Provide patient education and support before, during and after procedures.
- Collaborate with inter‑professional team members to optimise patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with safety, risk and quality management standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.Recent post‑registration experience in a Cardiac Catheter Lab.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage patients and colleagues.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act within professional and ethical boundaries.Basic computer skills and experience using health information systems.Knowledge of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.Benefits
