Concentis is partnering with Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) to Health and Safety Advisor who will play a vital role in fostering a safe, compliant and proactive workplace culture that protects GAWB's people, assets and the environment

Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) is a commercial Statutory Authority constituted under the Water Act 2000 whose purpose is to supply bulk water to major consumers in the Gladstone Region. GAWB manages a variety of assets ranging from major water storage through to pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks and water treatment plants. It takes measures to protect the quantity and quality of present and future water supplies and provides, operates and maintains recreational facilities and fish fingerling production facilities and stocking programs. The organisation is committed to the local and hands-on relationships with their customers and community to drive continued innovation. The company’s vision is to deliver safe and reliable water services to enhance the liveability of the region.

About the role :

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a key role in implementing GAWB’s Health and Safety Strategy and driving initiatives within the Safety Action Plan. You will provide specialist advice, support the development and maintenance of the WHS Management System, and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation.
