Senior Safety Advisor – Mining | Central Queensland | 6-Month Contract

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive Senior Safety Advisor to join an open-cut mining operation in Central Queensland on a 6-month contract. Working in a small and supportive HSET team, you’ll provide hands-on support to maintain and improve safety performance across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the review and implementation of the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS)
• Facilitate risk assessments, incident investigations (ICAM) and field leadership activities
• Conduct audits, inspections and reporting to drive continuous improvement
• Assist with training governance and ensure compliance with QLD mining safety legislation
• Coach and influence supervisors and contractors to promote a strong safety culture
