Responsibilities
- Oversee the digital performance business across allocated client team, maximizing the effective use of proprietary Starcom tools and data sets.
- Own campaign budget stewardship, including pacing, forecasting and reconciliation to ensure accurate delivery against client budgets.
- Deliver campaigns in platforms, ensuring we meet or surpass targets.
- Implement extensive QA process – including ensuring correct implementation of fees and client margins into buying platforms.
- Provide influence on digital performance strategies, partnerships and technological opportunities.
- Spearhead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with the Performance Director.
- Deliver roadmap initiatives across key platforms : search, social, programmatic.
- Collaborate for integrated media solutions.
- Oversee implementation and optimisation of biddable programs.
- Champion the Precision media proposition and our products & solutions.
- Develop and moderate structured test‑and‑learn frameworks, translating results into business outcomes and innovation roadmaps.
- Work independently to meet client objectives & deliverables.
- Develop and implement ways of working with each client, ensuring an effective and efficient operating rhythm.
- Deliver strategic guidance on all accounts, developing top‑class strategies to deliver on clients’ objectives.
- Take full accountability for ensuring we hit designated client business KPIs, continually optimising and improving performance.
- Build strong professional relationships with clients, including senior client contacts.
- Identify new opportunities to leverage Starcom’s broader teams and capabilities to resolve clients’ obstacles and deepen our partnership.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and offline teams to deliver integrated media solutions.
- Influence, mentor, and develop direct reports, ensuring clear career progression pathways.
- Contribute to a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Engage with platform & tech partners, providing timely and detailed briefs and feedback.
Qualifications
Proven ability to exceed client and campaign objectives.Activation experience in search, social, programmatic and e‑commerce.Proficient in ad technology, data and media partnerships including Starcom proprietary tools and solutions.Thorough understanding of bid management tools (e.g., DV360, SA360, TheTradeDesk).Knowledge of industry monitoring systems (e.g., Hitwise, SimilarWeb).Experience managing junior members of performance media teams.Benefits
