- The Opportunity
- Due to internal promotion, we have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced
- Property Manager
- to join the team, on an initial 14-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Property Manager is responsible for delivering best in class property and facilities services through the day-to-day contribution of QV Office and 80 Collins & Galleria Retail – premium and A-Grade assets. The Property Manager will contribute to a culture of outstanding customer service, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit with Dexus and outsourced property and facilities teams (CBRE). Lastly, the Property Manager will have the opportunity to influence work across some exciting projects, such as Master Planning, lobby and end of trip refurbishments.You will make an impact by :
- Lead Operational Excellence
- : Manage internal and external teams to deliver outstanding customer experience across a 60,000sqm office precinct and 10,000sqm of CBD retail.
- Own Property Performance
- : Be the single point of accountability for operational outcomes, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Foster Tenant Relationships
- : Build strong connections with tenants and act as their primary contact for day-to-day matters.
- Drive Financial Results
- : Oversee budgets, forecasts, rent rolls, arrears, and financial reporting to ensure optimal property performance.
- Ensure Compliance & Accuracy
- : Manage lease obligations, insurance, bank guarantees, and legal documentation with precision.
- Deliver Strategic Projects
- : Collaborate with asset managers and project teams to execute capex strategies and customer experience initiatives.
- Champion Service Culture
- : Lead on-site facilities teams and promote a culture of accountability and service delivery.
- About You
- You are a passionate, proactive and driven Property Manager, with significant experience in the office sector with some exposure to retail. You bring an excellent customer focus and strong follow through and execution. You juggle competing priorities, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Lastly, you understand the importance of getting the job done, through teamwork and collaboration. You will bring :
- Property Expertise
- : At least 4 years’ experience in office and retail property management, with a solid understanding of the Retail Leases Act and lease documentation.
- Customer-First Mindset
- : Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with clear and professional communication.
- Organisational Agility
- : Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems proactively, and stay ahead in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Acumen
- : Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and performance across multiple assets.
- Process Improvement Focus
- : A track record of identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Legal & Compliance Confidence
- : Ability to interpret leases, licences, and legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication & Stakeholder Savvy
