Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Educator to support the effective delivery of vocational education and training programs in the Community, CYFI and Mental Health space. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across multiple programsCoordinate program operations including timetabling, staff support, and student progressMentor and support teaching staff, including Teachers Under SupervisionEnsure compliance with regulatory and audit requirementsEngage with stakeholders to promote and enhance programsMaintain educational and vocational currencyDrive continuous improvement in teaching practicesSkills And Experience Required
Relevant qualifications in adult or vocational education (TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110 and AQF6+ or equivalent)Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in relevant fieldsExtensive teaching experience with strong learner-centred practiceExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and ICT skillsProven ability to lead, mentor, and innovate in educational settingsKnowledge of VET compliance, curriculum development, and quality assuranceAdditional Requirements
