Job descriptionDesign management : Leading a multidisciplinary design team to deliver the high-quality technical project on time. Stakeholder management : Liaising with client, internal and external teams, and construction to ensure alignment and integration of design solutions. Cost management : Monitoring and controlling design expenditures using robust tracking systems to optimise budgets and prevent overruns. Design governance : Ensuring all deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards through effective QA processes. Technical oversight : Directing primary & secondary design, conducting design reviews, and collaborating with external consultants on electrical studies. Proven experience as a Design Manager on major energy infrastructure projects (HV / EHV substations). Primary design engineering experience Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering) CPEng or working towards it Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia) Not Applicable Full-time Design, Art / Creative, and Information Technology Staffing and Recruiting
