About the Role :

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for leading, maintaining and enhancing the corporate system’s infrastructure, performing varied and highly skilled services, projects and activities across Asia Pacific.

Your responsibilities will include :

Maintain on-premise and laaS data center components and hardware including physical servers, virtual environments, storage, telecommunications, and peripherals.
Monitor and maintain the integrity, security and availability of critical hardware and server resources
Implement procedures, policies, and standards to ensure work operations are continuously effective
Partner and mentor other team members to achieve goals
Liaise with vendors for support and procurement
Assist with diagnosing and resolving errors, malfunctions, and disaster recovery of assigned systems
Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS) per training
Act as an operations escalation point for service exceptions
Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures, and systems within the team
Understand and comply with safety rules and Company policies

About You :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

2-3 years experience in System Administration with exposure to international teams

Relevant technology certificates such as Microsoft including MCSE, M365F, MCAF, MCASEA, MCAA, VMware including VCP, VCTA, VCAP, VCDX, CompTIA A+, and ITIL

Experience with data center software and platforms(examples include Virtualization platforms, VMWare and Hyper-V, Microsoft Server products, Active Directory and Exchange

Experience of Automation and deployment tools such as SCCM

Knowledge of IT security principles

Knowledge of scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash and Python

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting

Ability to mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment to achieve goals

Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive projects forward and innovate solutions

High level of communication; both written and verbal English with the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to team members in other departments

Commitment to high quality standards in all aspects of work

Willingness to learn, adapt, embrace continuous improvement, and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel overseas occasionally as required
