We are looking for a Disability Support / Learning Support Teacher to plan and work alongside our current LSU (Learning Support Unit) teacher to cater for our growing cohort of students in our LSU.
We are looking for a dynamic and flexible teacher, preferably with disability education qualifications.
This position will require planning for and working with one student, with an LSA in a separate setting, and planning for and working with our other junior K-3 LSU students.
- Eligibility / Other requirements
- Prior to commencing in this role, a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
