Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Safety professioanl to join our Group HSE team as the
Regional HSE Manager in Victoria.Based in metro Melbourne you will work alongside multiple site leaders and their teams to nurture and develop our safety obsessed culture and drive our HSE strategy and commitment in Transportation and warehouse environments.In turn we offer a stable and collaborative team, salary plus vehicle or vehicle allowance. Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited toTake the lead in coaching and mentoring your stakeholder groups on HSE strategies and activities that allow and encourage a safety obsessed culture.Develop and review all Site HSE Plans, in partnership with key business stakeholders ensuring alignment with Business Unit HSE Plan and assist the business in achieving all objectives and targets.Be accountable for driving HSE governance processes including undertaking HSE system and compliance audits and preparing these self-insured sites for quality, customer and safety audits.Identify and implement HSE training and communication programs that clearly articulate Group HSE information and safety expectation.QualificationsKnowledge / Experience5-7 years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on Transport, Warehousing and Logistics.Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders.Prior experience in participating in third party audits and corrective action planning.Technical / Professional Skills requiredDetailed knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards and management system standards (AS4801, OHSAS18001 & ISO14001).Excellent written and communication skills.Experience in conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies.Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint.QualificationsDiploma in Occupational Health and Safety and / or other relevant disciplineTertiary HSE qualifications (highly desirable)To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role with multi-site responsibilities, coupled with exemplary knowledge of HSE legislative and compliance requirements. A background in a Transport is essential or overall supply chain experience would be highly regarded.
