We are seeking expressions of interest for a digital first

• Media and Campaigns Officer
• to join the Office of Ash Ambihaipahar MP, Member for Barton.

This role will cover the following duties :

• Managing the Member's social media accounts, website and digital ad spend
• Drafting newsletters, social media content and media releases
• Capturing, editing and distributing high quality digital content
• Monitoring media, community sentiment and stakeholder issues
• Supporting continuous campaigning and electorate visibility initiatives
• Managing media equipment and creative subscriptions
• Executing print communications
• Delegating and overseeing media and campaign tasks for junior staff

We are looking for someone who :

• Has experience managing social media and websites
• Understands digital first media strategies and audience engagement best practices
• Is confident in content creation
• Can plan and execute paid digital advertising plans
• Can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and mentor junior staff
• Is committed to the values of the Australian Labor Party
