- Group Communications & Marketing Manager

- Reporting to the Chief Corporate Services Officer, and working closely with the Executive Committee, you will develop and drive the group communications, marketing, and brand strategy and play a critical role in building the organisations internal culture and external profile.
As Group Communications & Marketing Manager you will lead a high performing team of technical professionals to partner with the business to develop and execute a cohesive strategy and a clear and well understood operating model that aligns with DRAs objectives. You will drive key initiatives such as : employee culture program; strategy roll-out; sustainability / ESG awareness and reporting; branding evolution; thought leadership; employee attraction and external communications strategy etc.
Key functions includeCommunications - Develop and implement global communications strategies, standards, policies, processes and templates, including crisis communications.Marketing - Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans, including digital strategies and plans, that drive brand ownership, awareness and design servicesAnnual Reporting - Oversee the development and delivery of annual reporting, including ESG reportingExternal Relations - Foster relationships with key stakeholders, provide media support, speechwriting and prepare for corporate eventsSystems Ownership - Own and manage the organisation's websites, intranet, social media and other communication systems. Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure seamless delivery of servicesTo be successful you will requireDegree in Business, Marketing or CommunicationsExtensive experience in a similar role across a global organisation including leading the functionStrong leadership skills and the ability to provide clear scope and boundaries for team members and internal clientsBroad and deep knowledge and technical expertise across all areas of communications, marketing and brandExperience leading and driving multiple complex, global projects spanning different businesses and disciplines with the ability to create clarity and focusExceptional relationship building and stakeholder management with a proven ability to work collaboratively across businesses, regions, and culturesExperience working within an EPCM / Mining environment advantageousThis is a rare opportunity to have real impact across a global organisation.
