Your RoleAccountabilities and responsibilities includeProvide expert advice, guidance, and technical support to Operations stakeholders at all levels, ensuring full compliance with all relevant WHS legislation.Conduct thorough inspections and investigations, providing support to Operations teams in incident and close call investigations and delivering comprehensive training and participation in safety meetings.Support operational teams in the maintenance of compliance to Recognized Standard 13 obligations and recommendations, providing guidance to ensure all monthly safety reports and inspections are completed on time and to the required standard.Develop and update site-specific Safety Management Plans in close collaboration with Operations teams, ensuring that the internal HSEC Management System is regularly reviewed and maintained.Manage a comprehensive High-Risk Register that documents all controls relating to high-risk activities, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of all safety statistics and trends.Participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken, providing guidance to operational teams in conducting effective risk assessments that protect the safety and health of all team members.Develop, review, and provide feedback on safety bulletins, incident investigations, meeting minutes, and inspection reports, working with the HSE Advisor to plan and schedule regular visits to operational sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting inspections, observations, hazard identification, training, and participation in safety meetings.Assist the Rehab Coordinator in managing and coordinating the rehabilitation and return to work of injured team members, including developing individual rehabilitation plans and providing support and guidance to operational stakeholders at all levels regarding all facets of injury management and return to work rehabilitation.Your skills & experienceMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE field.Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in HSE field.Injury Management / Return to Work qualification.Knowledge of Tyre Maintenance & Management procedures (mining experience desirable).Ability to travel to remote sites in a planned or unplanned manner.How to Apply?Does this sound like you?
