Job description

As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the administrative operations of our college to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of training and student services in accordance with ASQA and National Code standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college's office, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Supervise and support administrative and student support staff, including performance reviews and rostering.
  • Manage records and reporting processes related to student enrolments, attendance, and academic progress in accordance with RTO policies.
  • Ensure compliance with RTO standards, including student file management, data entry into AVETMISS-compliant systems, and audit readiness.
  • Liaise with trainers, assessors, students, and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Manage and maintain office budgets, procurement of resources, and general office upkeep.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain policy and procedure documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and support senior management in planning and compliance reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher-level qualification in Business or related field
  • Minimum 2years of experience in an office management or similar administrative leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of RTO standards, ASQA compliance, and administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and student management systems
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Office Management, or similar (preferred).
