Job Description

Location : Docklands, Melbourne

Salary Package : $35ph-$45ph + Super

A leading organisation in its industry is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team. Role Overview :

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while ensuring a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders. You will support the payroll function during a period of business consolidation, managing end-to-end processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Processing weekly and / or fortnightly payroll runs in Preceda
• Accurately calculating and processing adjustments, terminations, redundancies, and bonus / commission payments
• Setting up new employees, processing casual timesheets, and managing leave reconciliations
• Preparing payroll data using Excel and ensuring data integrity
• Downloading and actioning error logs, escalating issues where needed
• Managing end-of-pay processes including GL coding and superannuation reconciliations
• Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll systems and processes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system
