This client is an established, private entity with c. $300 million in industrial, retail, and commercial assets under management across 50 hectares. It has a proud Western Australian business history dating back to 1897.
This is an important role, working with and across the organisation to deliver company-defining outcomes, driving quality standards and professional behaviours within an experienced and capable property team. The role reports directly to an experienced Chief Property Officer.
Responsibilities consistent with the role title include, but are not limited to :
Ø Driving development projects across brownfield and greenfield sites.
Ø Managing concurrent project priorities across multiple asset classes.
Ø Engaging with office and site staff, and external clients, consultants, and builders.
Ø Provide expertise in scheduling, contracts, and cost management.
Ø Provide budgeting and feasibility data to the investment committees and the Board.
Ø Strong commitment and advocacy for a safety and risk management culture.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years post-graduate experience in a property development or project management role. A working knowledge of design development, planning, approvals, and legal and contract documentation will be highly regarded, along with a passion for continuous improvement and leveraging technology. Problem-solving, an active approach, and developed communication skills will enhance success in this role.
