- About the role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardy Assistant Management Couple to join the ALPA team. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills to potentially run your own store in the future.
You will both support the Store Manager in the daily running of the store and training and developing your team.
- This position is based in a remote Aboriginal community in the NT
- Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with the daily operations of the store to achieve KPI targets on training, nutrition, safety, sales and budget control
- Mentor, coach and develop the store team
- Provide the administrative support for the store including but not limited to rosters, purchasing and completing new employee forms
- Build solid working relationships with key service providers in the community
- Ensure all company assets are maintained to an acceptable standard

- Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Retail Management and / or Hospitality Management
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in forecasting, analysis and staff rostering
- Strong track record in delivering results, implementing business strategy and continually driving outcomes with a sense of urgency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate
- Stock inventory control and management
- Community-minded with a passion to make positive differences
- Applicants with a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence and forklift (LF) licence will be highly regarded
