The Bird Group is looking for chefs to fill openings at each of our venues. We are a Restaurant / Cafe in Kalamunda called Mason & Bird and a cafe in South Perth called Little Mason.
Mason & Bird (Kalamunda) : Looking for a full-time chef de partie with a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience working in kitchens as a cook). Restaurant hours will require a mix of days, nights, and weekends, totaling 40 hours / week across 4 days (with 3 RDOs per week).
Minimum pay rate of Level 3 Restaurant Award will apply, but this will depend on experience and could be higher for the right candidate.
Must have a car, as public transport to the area is minimal.

Little Mason (South Perth) : Looking for a casual chef / cook for 10 hours / week initially, with potential to increase hours over the coming months. All hours currently will be in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday. Future hours may include evenings, so candidates should be flexible.
Ideally, candidates will have a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, but relevant experience working in kitchens will also be considered.
Free parking cannot always be provided, so local candidates to South Perth or surrounding areas are preferred.
