At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that enables our veterinary clinics to thrive. We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our broader Accounts Payable team within the Finance function.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process—from invoice processing to vendor communication—while working collaboratively with team members to ensure accurate and timely payments. You’ll also manage and action support requests through our ticketing system, helping to resolve queries efficiently and provide exceptional service to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute payments, including electronic transfers and checks, on a scheduled basis.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Support month-end closing by reconciling accounts payable to the general ledger and preparing relevant reports.
• Maintain organised records and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the Accounts Payable ticketing system, ensuring all queries are actioned promptly, prioritised effectively, and resolved within agreed timeframes.
