We are seeking talented and experienced officers to join the National Office for Child Safety to fill multiple vacancies across the branch at the APS4, APS5, and APS6 levels. Your work will contribute to developing and delivering measures under the National Strategy.
Key work priorities include, but are not limited to :
work to enhance support for victims and survivors of child sexual abuseenhancing community awareness and understanding of child sexual abuse, including through a national awareness raising campaignengagement with child safety experts and advocates, including victims and survivors of child sexual abuse, peak bodies, and academicswork to prevent, respond to, support and safeguard children with harmful sexual behavioursimproving child safety and wellbeing information sharing, including on Working With Children Checksimplementing national principles for improving child safe cultures and practicespreventing child sexual abuse offending and reoffending.Work in the National Office for Child Safety involves close collaboration across the Commonwealth, with state and territory governments and the non-government sector.
