We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (Product) to join our team in Perth, where you will take ownership of a dynamic customer portfolio and play a key role in driving sales growth across Western Australia.
About the role As Area Sales Manager (Product), you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our customer base across Western Australia. You will represent ComAp's range of standardised smart power control products and solutions, and work closely with engineering and sales colleagues to deliver value to OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and end users.
This is a field-based role with regular intra-state travel, occasional interstate and international travel, and direct responsibility for pipeline development and regional sales KPIs.
Key Responsibilities : Support and service existing customers, and identify new business opportunities.Promote and sell ComAp's product range and standard control panel solutions.Guide customers in migrating to new platforms and applying our products in their projects.Pursue product sales across OEMs, integrators, contractors, and end users.Coordinate with the Project ASM when custom solutions are needed.Interpret customer specifications and tender requirements.Feed leads and customer feedback into ComAp's broader sales strategy.Maintain and grow your pipeline in CRM and prepare monthly sales reports.Achieve agreed sales, margin, and activity KPIs.About You You're a technically confident and commercially savvy sales professional with a passion for customer service and power solutions.
Required : Electrical or allied technical qualification (tertiary desirable but not essential)5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a similar field-based or technical sales roleKnowledge of diesel / gas generator control systems and power generationAbility to read SLDs and interpret specificationsStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsCRM and Microsoft Office proficiencyValid driver's licence and passportExperience with ComAp or similar productsUnderstanding of hybrid / battery systems and grid protectionsExposure to panel builders, tenders, and specification-based sellingWhy Join ComAp?
