The Opportunity We're looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and support our customer base in Australia. The candidate needs to be ideally situated in or in the surrounds of Griffith, one of the core regions to our existing customer base, and where there is still significant room for growth. You'll work closely with growers, offering Aerobotics' innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. This is more than a sales role; it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of AgTech innovation, helping shape the future of farming.

What makes this role unique : Develop customer strategy to optimize growth for the entire region Sell & deliver products to a wide range of horticultural customers Work with cutting-edge technology in agriculture Direct impact on the future of precision farming What You'll Do Identify and build relationships with new customers in the horticultural sector Provide hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices Develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability Develop, implement and achieve revenue & profitability targets aligned with Aerobotics forecasts Optimize the customer decision journey to minimize spend and resources, and to maximize purchases and repurchases Collaborate with internal teams in South Africa to ensure seamless service delivery Partner with the Product team to uncover new customer needs & inform product development Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities Regular travel within the region to meet customers, and at times, attend conferences as necessary. What You'll Need 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in agribusiness or AgTech Background or experience in perennial tree crops, agronomy, or horticulture is preferred Strong understanding of farming systems, soil science, nutrition, and irrigation is preferred Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision World-Class service delivery & customer-centric attitude A valid driver's license and own vehicle Valid work permit for Australia (if applicable) Application Process Submit your CV & a clear motivation for this role & Aerobotics First interview with Head of People & Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Technical assessment Final Interview with our CEO & CCO #J-18808-Ljbffr
