- About the role
As the Customer Relations Advisor, you will build and maintain our customer relationships and create value to customers and Unitywater through offering resolutions, account advice, solutions and trusted advice. Forming close relationships with your portfolio of customers, you will provide strategic advice and support across our products and services. Initially, a key focus of this role will be engaging with Bodies Corporate to ensure their unit complex sub meters are compliant and customers are billed accurately. Additional accountabilities will include :
- Partner with customers to ensure an understanding of the strategic direction of the customer's business to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Be a trusted advisor to customers and to other Unitywater teams in initiatives and projects.
- Manage complex customer matters within specified timeframes and to the highest level of service.
- Present quantified risks, issues and mitigation actions, with portfolio-base risk management approaches.

- you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role :
- Demonstrated high level of strategic relationship management experience in a commercial environment.
- High level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend, research, analyse and resolve complex customer issues.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player to solve problems quickly and effectively and support an overall improvement in the culture of the team.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to manage challenging and highly sensitive customer matters.
- Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritise, work autonomously or collaboratively, and manage multiple competing issues to deliver on a broad range of activities to tight deadlines.
- Strong technical skills and previous utilities experience required, with metering experience being highly regarded.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
