Applications Support Engineer Contract : 12 Months + Extensions Likely

Location : Melbourne (preferred) | Sydney | Brisbane | Canberra

Clearance : NV1 required (Baseline may be considered)

Work Model : Hybrid (3 days / week)

We're seeking an experienced Applications Support Engineer to join the team supporting mission-critical systems. You'll troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), contribute to continuous improvement, and participate in 24 / 7 support coverage.

Key Skills & Responsibilities : Strong in Java / J2EE , with knowledge of Microsoft, Python, PowerShell Experience with on-prem & cloud hosting, monitoring, and capacity management

Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and technical documentation

Mentor junior team members and support process improvements

You must be an Australian Citizen with active NV1 clearance (or Baseline with eligibility for upgrade).
