A well-established specialist professional consulting engineering firm with 200 staff operating nationally. This role provides administrative assistance across the Perth office, and works closely with the rest of the admin team across the country when required.
About the positionAnswering phones, & responding to queriesProcess incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinate couriersControl and order office consumables including stationery, kitchen supplies, field equipment and PPEProvide IT support for phone system and video conferencing requirementsDocument editing, formatting and data entryPhotocopying, scanning, filing and maintenance of recordsAssist in ordering and organising eventsSupport new starter activities such as office tour, passes, security codes, photos, etcAssist in ordering and delivery of office equipment, security services, and general office maintenance e.g. contact building manager with day to day issuesTake the responsibility of a Warden and designated First AiderOther general administration tasks as required such as keeping office & kitchen area tidyWhat we need in your experience and skillsMinimum of 2 years office administrationProficient in MS Word, Excel and OutlookAble to conduct self in a friendly, professional and punctual mannerAble to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelyOrganised, confident and motivatedAble to work well autonomously, or as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally
