• About the Role

Reporting to the Operational Superintendent, this key leadership position is responsible for achieving and

exceeding production targets by providing a safe, coordinated and supportive focus to all teams. The successful

applicant will work closely with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants.

The primary responsibilities of a Production Coordinator include :

• maintaining a strong safety focus at all times;
• planning and directing production activities to the processing plant shift supervisors in line with
• production priorities;
• liaising with the Maintenance Department in relation to plant shut down and maintenance requirements;
• planning and coordinating plant shutdowns and start-ups;
• coordinating the equipment isolation required for maintenance and shutdowns;
• coordinating the crushing activities to ensure required ore feed is maintained to processing plants; and
• ensuring all operating standards and procedures are adhered to.
• demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace;
• experience in a similar role or similar industry related experience;
• analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills;
• highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; and
• certificate IV in Frontline Management is desirable.
