About the role
Work with managers and volunteers across each facility to identify where volunteers can enhance care
Engage with community to recruit to available volunteer positions
Screen and onboard volunteers gathering and retaining relevant documentation
Provide ongoing support for volunteers by being present and available both onsite and by telephone / Microsoft Teams
Coordinate rosters with department heads and also with volunteers
Each week you will have a combination of days spent at St Vincents Darlinghurst the Mater in North Sydney and working from home
About you
Personal commitment to the Mission of St Vincents
Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to develop effective relationships and partnerships
Ability to work flexibly and responsively in larger organisations with various sites and departments
Welldeveloped organisational and time management skills
Previous experience in a volunteer coordinator role or a recruitment coordinator role or a similar coordinator role
