Our client is an established Geelong business who are looking for a new locksmith to join their team.
Responsibilities :
We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Locksmith. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in locksmithing with proven hands-on experience. You will be expected to have an in-depth understanding of various types of locks and security systems, as well as the ability to install, repair, and open locks efficiently. Key cutting skills and familiarity with electronic access control systems are also necessary. Automotive experience is also preferred but not essential.
As a Locksmith for our client, you will be servicing Geelong and surrounding areas, demonstrating your expertise in all things lock-related. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. The role will require you to be on call for emergency situations outside of regular business hours on a rotating roster 1 week in every 7. Additional penalty rates will apply during these hours and you will have access to a company van.
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
Availability to work Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week.
Proven experience.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise to manage time effectively.
Ability to work comfortably in a team environment as well as independently.
Candidates must have entitlement to work in Australia.
